Millions of children in the countries where the Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Poverty Diagnostic [2]research was conducted don’t have adequate access to any of the four factors of nutrition, including water and sanitation. Nearly one in three of them suffer stunted growth and brain development. But we can improve the human development outcomes in those countries by thinking and working differently.
