Étude sure la durabilité du statut FDAL (Plan)

Entre Mars 2012 et Octobre 2013, Plan International a mené des recherches sur la durabilité ODF dans leurs programmes en Afrique. Cette étude, réalisée pour le compte de régime par FH Designs, a été menée en Ethiopie, au Kenya, en Sierra Leone et en Ouganda.

L'étude a examiné les résultats des programmes ATPC exploités par Plan dans les quatre pays. Les données ont été recueillies en 4960 ménages dans 116 villages où l'ATPC a été déclenché et les communautés déclaré ODF deux ans ou plus avant l'étude a commencé. L'étude visait à répondre à trois questions:

One Day CLTS Sharing and Learning workshop before the WEDC Conference in Hanoi

The CLTS Knowledge Hub at IDS, in collaboration with Plan and WaterAid, will be co-hosting a CLTS Sharing and Learning workshop on Sunday the 14th September. This is in conjunction with the annual WEDC Conference that will be taking place in Hanoi, Vietnam from the 15th to the 19th September 2014. We invite all those who will be attending the main WEDC conference and who are involved and interested in CLTS to join us for this day of exchanging experiences, discussing ideas, challenges, strategies, and opportunities for collaboration and networking.

Sharing Plan Indonesia’s Journey towards Disability Inclusive WASH: “What has been achieved and how can this help other practitioners?”

People with disability (PWD) are a part of every community, everywhere in the world. They are among the poorest, most marginalized and disadvantaged. Sadly, PWD have the least access to basic WASH services, which contributes to their continued isolation, poor health and poverty. Plan Indonesia has been implementing two CLTS projects in three districts, namely Grobogan, Timor Tengah Selatan (TTS) and Timor Tengah Utara (TTU).

CLTS as long term sanitation strategy for early recovery phase of Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines

Plan Philippines and the Provincial Health Office of Western Samar facilitated a CLTS training from the 16th to the 19th March 2014 for local government staff, representatives of 25 barangays/villages and health workers in Marabut Municipality of Western Samar Provinces. They are interested in using CLTS as a long term sanitation strategy for enhancing the capacity of the duty bearers to address the sanitation problems in villages badly hit by typhoon Yolanda.
