Diarrhoea kills 500,000 children daily

At the opening ceremony of the staff training on Community-Led Total Sanitation and Waste Management in Abuja, Dr. Otive Igbuzor, the Executive Director of the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development, made a strong case for CLTS efforts by telling the audience that it was unacceptable that Nigeria ranks second after China in the child mortality record.
